Frequently Asked Questions

How will the funds raised be used?

The funds we raise through this campaign will be allocated to:

  • Travel and accommodation expenses for the team.

  • Research, archive exploration, and documentation.

  • On-location production costs.

  • Editing and post-production (editing a documentary with hundreds of hours of interviews is a labor-intensive process that takes months).

  • Acquisition of rights for film footage and audiovisual archives.

Once I donate, will I be able to track the project's progress?

Absolutely!

We’ve created an exclusive newsletter for our backers, where donors will receive updates on the filming process, production stages, and key dates and milestones related to the project’s release and distribution.

Are there any rewards for donating?

Yes, we’ve organized our donations into tiers, so depending on how much you contribute, you’ll receive different perks.

Based on the donation amount, rewards may include early access to the film (via private link after its theatrical release), a DVD copy, invitations to the premiere, or even having your name featured in the film’s credits.

What is the film's budget?

The total budget for We The Hispanos is €1,200,000, distributed across several stages: development, production, post-production, and promotion.
