WE THE HISPANOS, hispanic roots of the United States

A documentary film unveiling our Hispanic heritage and its enduring presence — a legacy over 300 years in the making that continues to shape the United States of America. Directed by acclaimed Spanish director José Luis López-Linares

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

WE THE HISPANOS FOUNDATION is a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to exploring, sharing, and celebrating the rich Hispanic heritage of the United States.

Our work centers on projects that blend historical research, cinematic storytelling, and open spaces for dialogue—such as conferences, panel discussions, and academic gatherings—where historians and thought leaders connected to our productions come together. Through these efforts, we aim to create meaningful connections that highlight the essential role Hispanic culture has played—and continues to play—in shaping the nation’s past and present.
